These vexillological symbols (both flags and the “coat of arms” that shows on them) are prescribed in the chap. III of this law. The 10 stars that are shown on both flags symbolize the 10 islands of the country, just like in the national flag. The shade of blue is named celeste but illustrated as medium blue.
